Nungwi boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar, with powder-white sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and breathtaking sunsets. Nungwi has the best nightlife in Zanzibar, with a variety of bars and clubs to choose from. There is also smaller tidal changes throughout the day so you can enjoy swimming and water activities for most of the day without the beach disappearing due to low tide.

paje beach
Paje offers a more relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, and is s world-renowned for its kitesurfing conditions. Paje has a more chilled-out vibe compared to Nungwi, so if you're looking for a party scene, this might not be the best place for you. Kendwa offers a good mix of both a relaxing atomoshpere, with some nightlife options. Make sure to note, the tidal changes on this side of the island means tide goes out until early afternoon.
