transportation:

CURRENCY:
(DIRHAM) Cash is King here . You'll find credit cards are not widely accepted in Morocco except at major hotels or high end restaurants. Just withdraw cash from a bank issued ATM when you arrive.
is it expensive?
The cost is considered Low to Moderate. During peak season, you can expect to spend $40- $300/night for accommodation, depending on travel style. May to September is the off season & the cheapest time to visit.
Solo travel safety:
Safety Rating: SAFE, even for female solo travelers. Locals are welcoming, but be prepared for alot of unwanted attention from shop owners & younger men "helping" you to find hotels or attractions - they expect to be paid.
language:
English is not widely spoken in Morocco, but in tourist areas you'll find most speak enough. The younger generation learn english in school & they are eager to practice! French & Arabic are the local languages.
travel tips
Haggling is expected in Morocco's souks. Dress modestly. Be firm but polite when declining unwanted attention - it can be overwhelming if you are not expecting it. Tipping is customary for waiters, tour guides, taxi's, etc.
