Ride-sharing services (Uber/Bolt) are available in major cities, and tend to be more affordable. For traveling between destinations, rental car or cheap flight are recommended. Bus vs Trains: Buses tend to be faster then the rail system.

(KUNA/EURO) Major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants, shops, & tourist attractions - but cash is still king. You can use a bank ATM upon arrival, and keep Kuno on hand for taxi's and ferry's.

The cost is considered Moderate to High. During peak season, you can expect to spend $100- $400/night for accommodation, depending on travel style. November-March is the off season & the cheapest time to visit.

English is widely spoken in Croatia, especially in tourist areas and among younger generations. However, always nice to have a few Croatian words like "Dobar dan" (Good day) when interacting with locals.

Many shops and businesses close in the afternoon for a siesta, typically between 1pm and 4pm. Be careful for Sea Urchins when swimming in rocky areas. Croatians take their coffee seriously. Expect strong espresso drinks and a relaxed cafe culture.
